Heritage Park Looking for recreation or relaxation? The centerpiece of the first village of Otay Ranch is planned to be a 10-acre City of Chula Vista neighborhood park. Situated in the center of the village within walking distance of most homes, this park has been designed by the award-winning landscape architectural firm Burton Associates and the highly acclaimed Rob Quigley Architects.The neighborhood park intends to showcase a 5,900 square-foot community center, featuring a large multi-purpose room that can be divided into smaller spaces and a separate arts and crafts workshop with a ceramics kiln. An outdoor amphitheater, adjacent to the community center, is planned to feature a raised concrete platform for performances and blanket seating on a terraced hillside. Additional amenities include a natural-looking pond, tot lots, facilities for court games and a multi-use lawn area.
